Spurs are a class act, best side we faced so far, and fully deserved the 3 points.
They could have been 4 or 5 up 1st half.
Yes its cruel way to lose but if we only show attacking intent for 10 out of 90 mins at home then we dont deserve anything.
If we adopt same tactics v Newcastle then I will be seriously worried.
On a positive note the RB and Peter Chicken-Wingie looked very good.

Will definitely be up there, spent 109m and only conceded one goal all season and that was in a derby away from home. Not a result to worry about, we will change things against Newcastle I think. All the teams we've played at home so far are a posession based team who hold the ball well. Newcastle are nearer our level so we can attack more

polo, it was the same play for the draw tactics from malky again, I fear its the only way he knows how to play his teams now. it seems we will try and either pass the ball in the net or just bang it up field, odemwingie looked good when he came on least he tried to have shot instead of pass it in the box, first half good build up and Campbell played a pass to bellamy on edge of box and he had clear shit of the goal to shoot at but he just passed it to kim who lost the ball, now I agree spurs deserved the win but we need to actually try and attack more, hopefully bottom half teams we will attack more, but hey its still a good start to the season

It was a damn good effort. I'm pretty sure Spurs will be top 4 this year.
It was fair enough playing this formation against the top teams - it worked against Man City after all. But I hope he has some more attack minded plans for the non top 6 teams.

Doo doo doo Peter Odemwingie
Think weve found a new terrace cult figure

They defended well today and Campbells one on one and Gunnarsons chance we nearly nicked it. I still think there is no point trying to outplay the likes of spurs and man city, i expect us to be more attacking against lesser teams.
One big negative and i totally lost it and was screaming all sorts of obsene words (apologies to any kids who heard) was Ben Turner and his hoof down the line. 6 times in first 25mins........AARRRGGGHHHH

Clattenburg was a great signing Christian. I wonder if we had bid for him first and they got him and Capoue in a double swoop?

Sour grapes trying to blame him Spurs were worthy winners.

They couldn't put the ball past Marshall in 90. The goalkeeper is the final line of the defence. We had a legitimate goal disallowed because of a ref who loves the limelight. Simple as that. We were hard done by and whilst Spurs, credit to them, were brilliant attacking and putting plays together and working it from wing to wing to stretch us, they still couldn't score until stoppage time. Thats a fact. 1-1 would have been fair.

Stick to gaming Bonzo you clearly know nothing about football.
They had 12 shots in goal most of those taking a worldy from Marshall to deny them.
Apart from a 10 min spell when Odemwingie come on they played us off the park.
Not even Gary could get near them today they were razor sharp.

the goal was rightly disallowed, turner jumped on the defenders shoulders, therefore it was a foul

Absolute tripe Christian as usual. Stick to the narcotics and gambling.

Barcelona stats vs Inter. You might want to check them. The only stats that matter are goals. Their's stood and we were robbed of one. End of.

United had 64% of possession v Man City Sunday. Tottenham weren't just the best side we've seen this season, they're the best side we've seen here in decades. We deserved to lose, but for all the posesssion and long range efforts, only once did they breach our defence. In typical top side fashion they drove until the end.
We've now a run of games where posesssion and opportunities will come. We've already showed how difficult we are to break down. I've got no concerns that our next wins are around the corner. Many of the posters here sadly don't know what day it is
