Spurs best team we played so far, we battled well, looks like a perfectly good goal was disallowed, inept decisions by ref/ linesmen, I m certainly positive we will stay up.

To be fair you are not on spurs level, they are a top 4 team, you are a top 12 team. We have played 3 of the top 6 teams at home, looking forward to playing teams from 8th down like Swansea, Sunderland, Norwich etc

For a jack I think you are talking sense, I have to say that the match against you come into my head during that game and have to agree we need to change our approach as teams who keep the ball will remain patient until time has run out and that chance will present itself. Look at United over the years they never panicked even in Fergie time.

Before the start of the season I would have been more than happy with 2 points from Man City and Spurs. The fact that we have 3 is an immense bonus in my eyes.

Taylor was flat on the floor having been pushed in the back by a Spurs player, that's what he was doing.


The big question is where were the linesman and Battenberg because it was as clear a foul as you will ever see on Taylor and yet they both managed to look the other way. Hmmmm.


Did the best side win today - Yes, but was thier winning goal valid - absolutely not. We had what looked like a perfectly good goal disallowed so in my opinion we absolutely deserved something from this game for a magnificent, organised and determined performance.

Would have been really interesting if Gunnarsonn had scored with a few minutes left.

It resembled the Alamo out there today for long periods and we got what we deserved in the end. Yes, had Turner's goal stood or had Gunnersson converted near the end we could argue that we COULD have had something - but lets not kid ourselves, we were well beaten by a team that had nearly 30 shots at goal! Have a look at the video of the goal on the other thread. There was no foul on Taylor, he was waiting for the ball to come to him and was out jumped by the ataaker. Not only was he not on the floor but he was trying to get back to cover the winger before the cross that led to the goal.

Taylor should have done better really.

Today we were completely outplayed for most of the game by a very strong established PL team.

However, after a dogged defensive performance and some descent play second half,as a City fan I would not say......... 'we deserved to lose'
