I am an ex soldier and whilst serving most of the lads went and had tatoos. (especially in Hong Kong etc where they were cheaper)
I had my first tat about 4 years ago (I'm 58 now) and it is a small bluebird on my chest.
As for how I feel about tattoos on men is neither here or there, as I don't find men attractive in the first place, so I am non judgemental.

Fair enough, a point of view I had not really considered.

So it's just about the attractiveness then, not so much what is (for some) socially acceptable.

What about a *very* high quality tattoo, a proper work of art, but it covers the upper arm, back and down to one leg. Still not attractive or could you be swayed if it was a really good image?
