IS THIS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE CLOSEST ?

Just a few games in and the Premier League is possibly shaping up to be one of the closet seasons so far at both top at bottom.

Results like Southampton beating Liverpool at Anfield today when Liverpool were on an excellent run.

Aston Villa turning Arsenal over at The Emirates on the opening day probably made the bookies tens of thousands.

No City fan will ever forget us beating the mega millions squad of Man City just a few weeks ago.

I think this season will be very tight at both top and bottom and the competition will be a lot closer than in previous seasons.

It certainly is shaping up that way Carl, which is worrying for us.

We need to attack teams around us and get 3 points, which I don't know if we're capable of.

The usual suspects will all be @ the top,but a different story at the bottom me finks

Fingers crossed it'll be an exciting battle.

All three promoted sides look to have strengthened well, I just hope they don't keep it up!

Hull somehow managed to win at Newcastle today, which is a crazy result as I don't rate Hull at all to be honest. But Hull's result today shows a point away to them wasn't a bad result at all.

I think it already looks like 40 points will not be enough for survival.

I think Hull have bought well. They have generally brought in players with Premiership experience . The Huddlestone signing was a big signing for them.

You are right Chris, they look a decent outfit and may surprise a few along the way.

This is where the Jacks have the advantage, they've got more fingers to cross.

Very early days and at the moment, the League is looking more like the Championship with freak results all over.
The main difference has always been the squads in the Premier League, natural order will resume as the injuries come, the big four and next four can cope better than the rest, as they have international premiership experienced replacements.

It is still early, some teams like us and Swansea, have had tough starts, other teams have had much easier games so far, will will know more after twelve games, then the League will start to take shape and the gaps will appear.....
