Can we really do it all over again and beat Spurs like we did Man City?
What are the major factors we need?
What City Players are the ones Spurs should fear and can help turn them over?
Who should City fear?
Can our crowd really be the 12th man?
Do we treat it like a Cup match?
Should we fear them?
And honestly what do u think the final score will be?

What are the major factors we need? More goals than them, but patience is the key
What City Players are the ones Spurs should fear and can help turn them over? Medel defensively & Whits going forward as he will have a lot of confidence after his superb goal
Can our crowd really be the 12th man? Absolutely
Do we treat it like a Cup match? Every game in the Premier should be treated as a Cup match
Should we fear them? Not at all, respect yes, fear no way
And honestly what do u think the final score will be?

Unlike man city who try to play through the middle , spurs use the wings a lot . Catherine and Taylor need to be on top form because soldado will finish every chance he gets in the air .
Lamela , Townsend and holtby are the three we need to stop . I'm pretty sure gary can deal with holtbys deep runs but Taylor against lamela or Townsend worries me if I'm honest . Not only will he have to deal with a 30 mill pound pacey winger but also have Kyle walker overlapping constantly .
Spurs defence is there for the taking at the moment , if we hit them with pace through the middle we could really hurt them .
2-2 draw

I may sound a right negative one but I believe if we get a draw that would be fantastic, I don't think we will will get anything from this game tbh.
Anything from tomorrow's game will be a bonus and looking at the next 3 fixtures of Spurs, Fulham and Newcastle, if we can take 4 points from these games then I will be pretty happy.

Erikson scares me to be honest. Hopefully Caulker and Turner can shut him out as well as Soldado

Walker is their weak link, I reckon - likes going forward but he struggled for England last week at the back - Whitts isn't a pacy runner, but if he pressurises Walker enough, I think that'll be an outlet for us.
We've got a bit of confidence having Theophile at right back, because he can get forward as well; it'll mean Bellers can play more of an attacking role as he has done all through his career.
It'll be a tough game and we'll have to play in a similar style as we did vs Citeh, but as someone has mentioned - they're more likely to use the width.
That said, I'd be happy with a draw but there's no reason why we can't pick up a result against Spuds...

2-1 City...

I will be more impressed if you beat Spurs than if you beat Man City.
Man City underestimated the newcomer, they have a habit of doing that. Spurs are a very difficult team to play against, they have amazing quality like Man City but don't have the kudos associated with their club in order to become complacent. We tend to struggle against them, especially away. You will do well to get a point.
2-0 Spurs.

Jermain Defoe "confident" ahead of "tough" Cardiff City trip -
By Robert Summerscales, Reporter

Jermain Defoe is confident that Tottenham Hotspur's new-look side can go from strength to strength by maintaining their good start to the season by claiming three points at Cardiff City on Sunday.
Spurs, who added seven new players to their first team this summer, have scored 15 goals and conceded just one in their opening seven games of the campaign.
That run of form has seen the White Hart Lane outfit assert themselves as one of the early favourites to win the Europa League.
It has also propelled them to third place in the Premier League table with nine points from a possible 12.
Defoe, who netted a brace in Thursday night's 3-0 win over Tromso, expects his side to be tested in South Wales.
"Cardiff will be tough, they have good players," Defoe told Tottenham's official website. "No game is easy in the Premier League, it gets better and better and harder and harder every season."
He added: "We're confident so hopefully we'll go there and continue doing what we're doing. The new players have been great and if we go there and win that game, it will be fantastic."
Spurs and Cardiff have only met three times since the turn of the millennium, with the London side winning two and drawing one.

1-0 Spurs, Soldado

If we get a point it'd be a fantastic result and keep us unbeaten at home! It'll be our toughest test so far I think, really rate Spurs. All of their attacking players have the ability to hurt us and if we do lose I don't think it'll be by more than 1-2 goals - really can't us taking a hammering this season; we're too well organised.
If Medel can break up play in the middle and Theo and Taylor keep their discipline who knows. Can't wait for this one!

Not impossible but Spurs will be almost certain to win. If we put the same level of performance like Man City we can give them a handful

I have a feeling we will lose 0-4!
But Spurs have played a game mid week and will be fatigued.
A draw would be an incredible achievement.
I'm never right, so chuck your money on a City win.

Its another cup final.
Crowd is super important.
Spurs look real quality -more dangerous to us than man citeh and everton.
The new signings are superb. So glad Theo is in as spurs can spread the ball.
They are away though - so if we get in their faces. And get behind them.
A cup uspset could be possible.
2 v 1 Cardiff City

They all scare me, we had a difficult start to the season, I didn't think we would get any points from the first three games but we did.
For once, I agree ith Roathy, Spurs are a very strong team and have clicked very quickly, I would be delighted with a point, but on paper we should lose by a goal or two. If we get any points I will be extremely impressed with Malky and the team.
Yes we can and will have to be the twelfth man, our team needs us, let's get it going tomorrow and help the boys on
Sat Sep 21, 2013 10:22 pm
tomorrow is a freebie. be happy with a point.
palace aside i aint got a clue whos gona get dragged into it.
i think this year more than 40 points is required
Sat Sep 21, 2013 10:42 pm
Not sure we have enough in our full backs to stop them creating from wide positions. Plus that Erikson looks quality too, but then so does their whole team!
Damage limitation I reckon.

What are the major factors we need? Play a defensive line like we did against Man C
What City Players are the ones Spurs should fear and can help turn them over? Campbell. His speed down the middle hopefully will open up their central defence. Here is hoping Whitts can provide the service
Can our crowd really be the 12th man? why not
Do we treat it like a Cup match? Every game is important but some need more effort than others. Lots of effort is going to be required for this one.
Should we fear them? Should not fear but respect them
And honestly what do u think the final score will be?

Feel exactly like I did before the Man City game.. But look what happened. Spurs do look very strong this year though, so to be realistic a draw would be a great result. i say we lose by 1 and try to feel good about it. Hope Odemwingie plays, and looking forward to seeing Theophile-Catherine too.
