I have a feeling Swansea will go all the way to the final in this competition , definatly knockout stages IMO but given a kind draw without too many big teams dropping into the competition from the champions league they could well make the final if they take it seriously throughout ! The style they play suits this tournament .

Roughly 40/1 to win the tournament 18/1 to reach the final

What would most cardiff fans reaction be to them in a final like that ?

Would you want them to fail miserably or win it for a welsh team ?

Is it fate that when we host the super cup final swansea will be actually playing in it ?

if they keep me in money I really couldn;t care less, kerching!

I've put £10 on them to win it. If they do I profit, if they don't win it then I'm still happy. I do however think they have a really strong chance and our fans are underestimating them. They play a style that is boring but effective as proven vs Chelsea in the cup last year. If they can grab a goal away from home as well then they stand a really strong chance in the competition.

Hope they get to the final and lose. If they win it so be it, I don't rate the competition anyway. I think they will face tougher tests than a well out of form team playing with 10 men for nearly 90mins though.

It was a great result but it was against 10 men, out of form Valencia side. They will face tougher opposition if they progress to the knockout stages (which is likely) but I can't see them winning it.

The further they go all the better,the premiership is more important,and the longer they stay in europe the harder it will be for them,they won't win the cup

Still early days but I would fancy lazio or Lyon ahead of them plus a few others.. Hopefully they get knocked out at the semis after suffering a few injuries

Depends on who drops out of the champions league but in all honesty there is not much in the Europa to worry them too much , sevilla , spurs and Fiorentina are the main rivals in my eyes , but like most big clubs in this comp they very rarely put full teams out so the smaller teams often take advantage .
Look at some of the teams that have made the final in the last ten years it is very likely a lesser fancied team will make it .
Neither Celtic , middlesborough , rangers , braga or Fulham would have been fancied but all made finals .

To be honest if we were in the comp I'd fancy us to get out of the group stages aswell

Genuinely don't think they will be in the relegation scrap but the extra games may come handy for us

Hopefully some big terms such as Dortmund flop in the CL(group of death) and other big teams come in and knock Swansea out. Would be brilliant

I myself hope they do, I dont care about this WE HATE JACKS THING, Yes I want us to kick there ass when we play them , but I want all Welsh clubs to do well as Im a Welshman

Flying so high as it stands your below us in the league!could change this weekend i know but as i stands we are above so your flying so high where looking down on you!!yeah fair play yesterday's result on paper looks impressive,I'd be happy if I was you!but if you look at it properly you beat a team who have not won a game so far this season,low on confidence,down to ten men after ten mins,sold their best players and are in financial trouble!Valencia at the moment aren't to force they once were!You do play nice football you deserved to win but you beat a great club not a great team!
