Not enough interest from Jacks for club to organise travel

Talking to someone close to Swansea City football club and they said there was not enough interest from their fans for the club to organise official travel to their game against Valencia.

Don't think we would have that problem if we had a European game, don't think we have ever had a problem even when we were in the doldrums of the basement division.

Surprised at that as Valencia is a nice place (perhaps that's what put them off visiting).

Would go if we were playing there.

I'm sure there will be plenty of Jacks out there watching.

Is this the game where its really cheap match tickets ?

I would love to watch Cardiff away in Europe once again, About 1,200 Standard Liege (Belgiium), 600 to Admira Whacker(Austria) and that was when we were getting home crowds of 6,000, imagine playing in Spain in the Cup.

I don't know, but it was hardly an appealing draw. Valencia away is far more appealing.

We can say how wrong it is that they didn't go to the last one but all want tickets for this one, but Cardiff fans would be exactly the same.

You're deluded if you think that going away to some random Romania club, in a game which was pretty much done and dusted, would attract the same sort of interest as going away to Valencia!

It happens domestically too... People fighting for tickets to go away to some games, yet couldn't sell out Hull allocation.

Yeah, I don't think there will be a shortage of Swans fans out there. As for organising official travel, I guess that's because as soon as the fixtures were finalised, most of the lads I know were straight on the internet booking their own flights out there?
