That atmosphere tonight

Mon Sep 16, 2013 9:44 pm

Imagine us having a Monday night full house v Liverpool. The place would be sizzling. I never heard one comment tonight about the atmosphere and for most of the game all you could hear were Liverpool. Didn't Huw Jenkins say the other day he's not committing to an extension? We'll be getting 15,000 more than these poor relations next season

Agreed,it was like a morgue at the library tonight, they did up it abit when they levelled it at 2 all but thought it was very poor, the atmosphere at our 2 home games have been much better than theirs so far :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Your idea of a bouncing atmosphere is several leagues lower than ours

The crowd was ok.Never as good as it was in our first season up here but we still sang quite a bit.Liverpool fans sang when they were winning and shutup when they weren't.Third season up here now lads and If your fortunate enough to be still here in 3 years time then you'll see what i mean. The adrenaline goes and it becomes a big game but just another one in our quest for points. You'll see yourself on your travels how quiet home fans are. It's the Premier League and the fans are different to what we're used to.

Methadone Monday must be tough. You should try just going Cold Rat instead. You have as much ambition as your club. None.

Ambition? Just spent 12 million pounds on a new striker...whats your definition of ambition?

Drum and and other than the rugby song it sounded very Crystal Palace 'Ultra-esk'. Definitely not bouncing, not exactly quiet either...a generic atmosphere, for a bore 0-0...not an entertaining 2-2.

The atmosphere in our ground against Man City and Everton was 10 times better than the Liberty tonight. I've noticed they don't sing Hymns and Arias every 5 minutes anymore as well. :laughing6:

I didn't make any of them but saw all of them on Sky and I'd say the difference was greater in our favour :notworthy:

I hate it when our fans pick on something like this. The atmosphere was perfectly fine, makes us look bitter.

Since we moved to the CCS, we can count our good atmospheres on one hand, before the prem our atmosphere was so woeful you could hear the players calling for the ball so acting like its the norm is a little disingenuous. We have the premier league new boys factor, just like they did when they were promoted, its up to us to keep that going at the level we have seen so far.

Lets talk about Spurs eh?

Whar u dont understand is that this is our 3rd season in the prem and we are allready known in the mefia and around other clubs as having a great atmosphere.
Its a new thing for u and your first season in the top flight, so off course u are going to be up for it.
You play teams and expect to get beat, we are playing a Liverpool side who aint conceded a goal yet and are the inform side in the prem but expect to beat them.
Shows how far we are ahead of u realy.
Ps second half alltho by far not the best! But was a decent atmosphere.

Lets cut through the shit here the atmosphere was lame as f**k first half because Liverpool were playing you off the park.

2nd half after Coutinho went off Swansea come into the game and then.bossed it after the equaliser and the atmosphere improved. It was loud when you did sing.

Plus with so many plastics at the liberty these days whos first team is probably Liverpool then they were undecided who to support
