When Don Cowie leads us into Europe

Mon Sep 16, 2013 9:37 pm

I can't wait to bump all the threads on here of the people who slagged him off. He's world class and again just like all the people who used to hate on Hudson and Marshall he will prove you wrong.

Top of the assists league already and has more assists already this season than Xavi and Iniesta put together and he's playing for a weaker team.

The guy is an absolute technical beast and future legend.

So lucky to have the Don in the team. We'd be relegation fodder without him. :notworthy: :ayatollah:

World class :shock:

Not quite , he's got a lot of good points but also a few bad
He just hasn't got the skill levels to be world class , its questionable whether he is premiership class .
Very good player and probably the hardest worker in the squad . Decent at crossing the ball and allways gives 100% .
BUT , his tackling is questionable , his passing is pretty poor and he can't shoot for shit .

A very good championship player in my eyes , won't play too many more games once odemwingie and Bellars are fit .

Cowie = 2 assists
Xavi = 0 assists
Iniesta = 0 assists

Challenge this.

The proof is there. Cowie is world class, possibly even better. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Stratchan's a f*cking moron for not calling him up but all it means is that we have the worldclass midfielder with a full engine playing for us.

There's a reason so many fans see their mates and their mates mention how they saw the white pele

So im a troll now for saying a quality player from our own team will lead us into Europe? Sorry but if Ashley Williams can do it with Swansea I firmly believe Don can do it with us. So far he has been instrumental in our success. His work rate is second to none, he has 2 assists to his name - don't forget we won by a 1 goal margin vs Man City and we drew with Hull so in effect 2 assists from Don have helped us earn 3 points. We'd have drawn vs Man City and lost to Hull without his contribution.

Of course though all the haters will continue to use him as a scapegoat. More of a fault on your part if you ask me.

Yes. Didnt you also say Rudy Gestede was one of the best strikers in the Europe? How many times have you vigerously backed both sides of the red and blue camp while slating the other side at the same time. You are a worse version of Barry Chuckle, at least his opinions are his own, even though he does turn into a knob when hes been proven wrong and continues posting rubbish even though he knows hes been proven wrong.

You just make opinions up/scenarios/fantasies in your head and see them out to the end, its ridiculous. Just be yourself, im sure you arent like this in reality.

I actually said he will go on to be one of the best. He is a quality player, a striker of the hold up type who as proven by the likes of Adebayor and co. mature and come into their own in their late 20's. Zamora is another player who is doing a job late on. People forget Rudy is 24 playing in a position that requires a solid mental game that takes years to master. He is getting better all the time.

Of course though our dear friend Barry Chuckles couldn't accept this. My belief in Rudy that he will be a future star of course is not acceptable because we all must, like our dear friend, believe he is never going to get better, is a failure and should have been loaned out to another team to save the club from his allegedly embarrassing displays.

Sorry for having faith and liking players in the team I support. I'll endeavour to be a miserable b*stard like everyone else in the future and refuse to have an optimistic outlook on any of our players.

So you think Cowie is world class, gestede will be of the best strikers in europe, you love the rebrand yet also love the blue and are against the rebrand depending on who you are debating with... And what occupations have you had again?

As i said, be yourself.

I don't doubt he'll show us what he's made of this season and that he's underrated, but World Class? A technical beast?

That's a very bold, almost Adrian Durham-esque statement. I wouldn't have him in the side over Bellers or Odemwingie... ;)

Theres a good poster in there somewhere, he just does himself no favours. Has episodes of being a complete and utter plonker, troll is the internet term. Just looks for attention on views he doesnt really hold. Immediately tries to take the other side of the debate.

Reminds me a little of that gareth baker.

Each to their own and as stated above, what people do in their private life doesn't bother me, and obviously in that particular scenario i was playing devils advocate but I guess that never crossed your mind.

How is that opinion nonsense? I think its fair as its my opinion. If someone else thinks its fine then fair do's to them. We'll all have different opinions in life and thats something you must accept. Some people like anal sex, others don't - their reasons are entirely up to them. Deal with it.

Bellamy has been very poor this season if you ask me. Would have Cowie in the team over him every day. Odemwingie I can't rate because I've yet to see him play for us so I'll reserve judgement on that one and get back to you.

Playing devils advocate means you sit on the fence while exploring both points. You categorically stated "anal sex is wrong no matter what the orientation". That is not aying devils advocate James. An awful, awful kop out tantamount to "haha only fishing" :lol:

You have a tendancy to troll, a tendancy that has shown up once again over the last week.

I enjoy debating on the forum and discussing things with people who can reply in an articulate fashion and debate on a mature level. I also enjoy having a joke around and a laugh with the likes of Polo and Bluebird1977 etc.

I stand by my statement of disliking anal sex. Sorry if that upsets you. If you enjoy it, fair enough, that's up to you mush.

You say I have a tendency to troll but you seem to be blissfully unaware of the fact that if I wanted to troll this forum I could do so with ease on a level you technically couldn't fathom. I don't think you even understand the term troll. If you think threads you disagree with are trolling then you seriously need to discover more of the internet.

You said it was wrong, you then said 5 mins later you think its fine and now you are saying you dont like it again?

There is nothing to disagree or agree with. The fact you clearly dont hold the opinion you are stating is the trolling. You have been called a chamaeleon for a reason, you dont even know what your own opinion is you decide what it is depending on where you woukd like to take the debate. Thats trolling.

I just gave you my opinion straight up. Deal with it. I have admitted in the past I used to troll. Thats something everyone on this forum including the mods, most of whom I now get on with, know. I'll admit it no problem but I no longer troll. I may have an opinion you disagree with and so what. You may hold an opinion I disagree with. That's life.

I've just given you my truthful opinion on the matter. If you can't accept it then so be it as I'm no longer going to discuss the issue as its there for me and yourself to see.

Now lets get the thread back on topic. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
