I have just been recently been let go from my job witch is annoying because I have a baby on the way, quite annoying as well because I didnt find out until i got into work that i had indeed lost my job...

but it got me thinking to the people who are employing you these days actually care about you..?
because for them the situation is well if that person leaves i can get someone else is simple because so many people are looking for jobs..

witch is not really right in my opinion because that one person might have put everything they give into the job and it just to get thrown back in they're face without even a thank you for your services is quite rude !!

Did you get made redundant or sacked for something?

If you were made redundant they can't just simply hire someone else in your old position, they make the job redundant not you, so if they did hire someone else you'd have a case for unfair dismissal. Also you'd be entitled to redundancy of course, providing you have worked there for more than 2 years.

Why did they get rid of you?
Is there no work?
Are you the problem (lazy, not up to the job, unreliable etc).

What about the employers point of view. Can they support giving you a paid employment reducing their income when they may have a baby/family on the way to support?

It works both ways. Would you care about your employer if a new job came along and you left, caring nothing about the situation you have left your employer in?

Sorry you have lost your job but it is a fact of life for many people, whatever the state of the economy in the country.

Remember the union leaders just told their members to treat their employers as the enemy. So if you employed people how would you react to that?
There are good and bad employers in all industries. I know as I have met and been employed by some of them.
