Same. How is half a black bin a week enough for a family of 5 like mine? Plus now my bin gets maggots in it in summer from being left for 14 days its disgusting. And we pay thru the nose in council tax for this shit service.

we have 3 bins.one for garden stuff,emptied one week.the next our green bin for general rubbish and the blue for recycling.so we have a worse service but the council collect our recycling stuff,sell it then charge us more

Our brown bin hasn't been emptied for weeks so swapped it with another bin 9 doors up last night and the Blue one is going to be swapped tonight as they ignored it today.

It's not their fault, the front line staff just take orders from overpaid management who in turn take orders from overpaid councillors. The bin men are just doing what they are told

It's recently changed to fortnightly in collections in my area and its not working but the people who should take the shit are the clowns who run that side of the council

I have 3 bins - general waste, food waste and recycling. They take recycling and food every week and general every fortnight. Glass must be taken to the glass refuse which is a pain for me after a night on the whiskey.

It's not the decisions of council's. It's a Welsh Government policy to increase recycling thst council's are obliged to carry out.

Incorrect, the policy of hitting waste targets maybe policy of the Welsh Government but how they collect the waste is completely down to the councils themselves and if tha wasn't he case then how do are some councils still collecting weekly and others fortnightly if it was a blanket policy by the Welsh Government..? The bottom line is that many councils have overspent and this is one of the services they have pulled back on. FACT!!!
