Is there a goal of the month competition for the Premier League? I see they do one for MOTD but that's just for fun?

If there is a official one then I would say his goal would be a contender.

It was a great, slick, one touch passing move and Cowie's ball in to Whittingham was absolutely sublime. Inch perfect.

It's just made 6 of the best on SSN but half the build up wasn't even shown?

I reckon if Man Utd had scored this goal and Van Persie had finished it would be repeated over and over, emphasing the one touch football and fantastic technique in scoring.

Maybe even Sky just thought "it's Whittingham.....& he does what he wants?"
