It's this simple !
Either you give a Toss about supporting a football team because of allegiance to support your local club that you feel an affiliation with or you don't care who you watch or support as long as their in the Premiership !
I think the argument of keeping quiet so Tan doesn't get scared off is starting to become a bit tired & weak.....
That said guys we still don't want to use this group as a ground to issue threats or slag off individuals please keep that in mind when you are wording your posts.
Thanks a lot

Not a great statement.

Like many other fans I have supported and had an allegiance to the club for many many years, so like many of course I give a toss, but none of us should feel guilty about finally having the chance to see us play on the biggest stage in the best league in the world. But again like many others, my allegiance and loyalty to the club is about far more than a colour or a badge, seen plenty of badges in my time, and that is what they are badges.
I genuinely feel sorry for people who's allegiance is based around a colour or badge, to me that is just a small part of my sense of belonging, they are my local club, they are Cardiff City, they are the Bluebirds, but again that is just part of the bigger picture and titles, badges and name tags will never affect my sense of belonging, would you love your son less if he changed his hair colour, changed his name, changed his sexuality even, he'd still be your son, even if he had the operation and became your daughter.![]()

Telling fans they have an either/or choice is stupidity in the extreme. Individual fans have plenty of options and most of them don't revolve around what BU want them to do.
2Blue above makes a brilliant point when says BU started with a good cause but have done nothing but alienate fans who fall into the 'reluctant red' category, the very fans they NEED to convince if they are ever going to succeed.
Sian you have many qualities (the courage to take up the leadership of BU is one), but the ability to connect with fans outside of your bubble is DEFINATELY not one of them.

Can't imagine, and would dread to think what it would take for me to lose my love for the club, and it's not just a club is it, always been far more than a club.

What a strange post. We're talking about a football club. What is its identity in your opinion then?

For me John, it is the fact that it represents the City of Cardiff in the football league.
