Inside the FAW?

Sun Sep 15, 2013 11:26 am

Below are a short list of questions regarding the FAW.
None are true, but what do you think of them?

1. Do you think that it is possible that a very senior figure at the FAW could have insisted on the National Team boss being Welsh regardless of the quality of the other applicants?
2. Do you also think it possible that before Gary Speed was offered the job, Ian Rush could have been approached by the same very senior figure and told that if he applied for the role he would see that he gets it?
3. Do you think its possible that Ian Rush could have turned the request down as he had very little coaching experience?
4. Do you think it possible that the same very senior figure could have then told Ian Rush "look if you want the job it's yours, we need a figure head that the Welsh football public respects, and we'll get you a top class Assistant to do the job with you"?
5. Do you think its possible that one of the coaches working with the National Team has not actually attained all of his coaching badges himself?
6. Do you think it is possible that the said coach could have had someone else to take one of his coaching badges in the USA?.
7. Do you think it is possible that one of the perks of being an FAW Councilllor is that you to get to take your wife/partner on some trips abroad, all paid for by the FAW?.

These are just questions of course and have nothing to do with what actually happens behind the walls of the FAW.

I will ask more questions at a later date.

None of it would surprise me at the FAW, it seems that they dont really have much of a clue what they are doing so look at way around things rather than actually fixing the problems.

The funny thing is that I would have been Happy with Rush as a figure head after speed went if they had kept the set up Speed left.

Whilst they may be questions, you are implying that they are the truth.

So, the question that needs to be asked and perhaps you may wish to answer it in a roundabout way - are these questions based on facts and/or inside knowledge or are they the figment of an over active imagination??

FAW should all resign or be sacked, waste of space.

Entirely plausible.
Very interesting questions.
Look forward to the next set.
