i am too annis.there again there was prob some old fellows from the 60/70.s wondering why a set of young kids were running around in bleached jeans and pringle jumpers bouncing around in the middle of the road long after they,d hung up there butchers coats.i suppose what surprises me is that the sentences are not putting some off.

Brum lad i spoke to said it was QPR they were all going for this year and they are all still very active, believe me it happens week in week out at alot of games, maybe just one or two punches, or sometimes 15-15 in estates, its still alive and kicking which is why Cardiff are the laughing stock, ye we got the lads, most dont go and most wont get involved now and on our day we can have a good mob, but an occasion recently proved were shit and couldnt get it together when required, thats all Il say on the matter

True Jeff they prob thought the same about us, but then the sentences were very lenient then and most of the time no sentences at all, just a clip around the ear.
.shocked at first but then so what?.there again i was a easy target.i was arrested and sitting in his police van
.i love life too much to want to fight someone over a team .i would only fight anywhere if i had no option.the jails sentences are crazy tho.putting lads away for a punch up then having to pay dole to them when they come out of nick cos they lost a job whilst in jail.madness.most times if the punches thrown had been a sat night it would be a 80pound fine and be on your way.the law makers are hypocrites to young brits.jail em for a scuffle but when they want a oil war they target the same kids to join up

As for sentencing years ago being nothing I don't agree. There was some serious jail handed out and the fines were large at times. Loads more were arrested years ago but first offence was lenient compared today. If CCTV had been like it is now some would have been lifed off for the butchery that happened every week. Most of the slashing s were never in the papers. Years ago the terrace casuals was a cult, now it's a totally different crowd . People from all walks now go to football. I have been to games where most of the total crowd have been up for it. Some hell bent some just vocally.there will always be a bit of trouble because some cannot behave. Just the same in cardiff at a concert, rugby, or night clubbers having a tear up. I always maintain the authorities are harsh on Footie lads because if allowed to get big again they can become a serious security problem. Civil unrest, right wing popularisation . The ICF were considered by Thatcher to be 2nd to the IRA on security matters in London.
there were some big sentences in the 80,s i agree.my man utd mate got 4 yr on the ferry that thatcher turned round from holland.served 18mth ,got it changed to 2 on appeal so he was let out.saw him in stafford nick.
