WHY NO EARNSHAW FOR WALES?

Thu Sep 12, 2013 9:07 am

I know this might be a bit controversial for some as his rating amongst many City fans has seemed to have gone out the window since his return. But lets be fair the bloke has never lost his eye for goal and has banged in 6 goals in 17 apps for Toronto this year - where Kenny has been deemed good enough for a Scotland call up and goal at Wembley. Aged at 32 i know he's getting on but he could definitely plug the hole of super sub in the Welsh camp rather and believe still has more to offer than the likes of Church and League 1/Champ garbage he's picking to fill the numbers and surprised Coleman didn't pick him to play to be honest. I know he's almost out the window now but i think he could have still helped to do a job for us during this campaign where goals have been almost null!

Or who know's, maybe he turned Coleman down as well... :laughing6:

I love Earnie - but I'm afraid he hasn't played well for Wales for years.

I don't think he's been used properly for Wales for quite some time - Tosh used to stick him up front by himself and then indirectly blame him when we couldn't score, and despite the attacking talent we've had for the last couple of years, I feel we've been using the wrong tactics and haven't been getting the best out of him. Even our current strikers get no service.

Don't think Ernie has recovered from that miss at Wembley.

Kenny has been better than Earnie this season.
