Is Coleman the most naive & stupid manager ever?

I agree Collins was wrong to apparently refuse a call-up to the Wales squad

But you do not alienate a player playing for a premiership team when you may require his services in future.

This is another example of Coleman-esque type comments that have been appeared in the press that should have been dealt with in private.

Coleman is a buffoon

Sounds like they both could have handled it better but Coleman probably can't win either way just now!

James Collins has been sulking ever since Gary Speed dropped him for the England game at Wembley, and played Darcy Blake instead. Darcy played a blinder, before eventually disappearing from sight. Big Ginge got to pay against Belgium, and promptly got himself sent off for a crazy foul, right under the referee's nose. He pulled out of the squad for the ROI friendly, but looked fine against us the following Saturday.

Having said all that, both Collins and Coleman now need to sort this nonsense out. Especially Collins. Time to man up.

For better or for worse, Coleman seems set to get a new contract. Either we, and the players, support Wales, or we sulk and don't. Up to us.

Coleman just trying to divert the attention away from him.

Why wasn't Collins playing anyway if Coleman thought he was available..

Collins hasn't been interested in Wales for years.
How many games has he played for Wales in the last 2/3 years?

Not defending Collins at all

But to put it into the public domain I feel is wrong its bad management

Coleman has previous form on going to the press instead of contacting the player involved I think it happened with Ramsey & the debacle with Shawcross playing for Wales ?.

Coleman is a right buffoon, he should think before he opens his big gob

The phrase out of your depths has never been more apt.
