As long as the Premier League badges in the corners are blurred, and its streamed through a legitimate stream, ie Satellite or paid TV, there is no longer a problem.

It's legal ,we have no closed period in wales only England ,as long as the premier league logos have been removed on live games asd you have paid a legitimate sub to a European registered company it's legal

Its totally legal, we have it live streamed in our pub! sky have even been to visit to try and give us a better deal...

I looked into it before I created the original thread for the West Ham Game. Trading standards or the EPL have not sanction over the broadcast of these games as long as they are bought from a legitimate broadcaster within the EU.

The European Courts have stated that there cannot be a restriction of trade across Europe. It is now down to Sky and the EPL to sort out how they will counteract this. While they try Sky can only remove their OWN service from the pubs involved, however, the cash speaks so they do not do this.

I have spoken to a mate that works for Sky and the powers that be are trying to arrange for either European wide licences but the EPL don't want this because they will get less money, they want ALL the control and ALL the money.

It is assumed that the next contracts that Sky sign with non UK broadcasters will have clauses stopping the sale of cards outside their broadcast area.
