Operation: Revolutionize the FAW

Tue Sep 10, 2013 9:26 am

Right, enough people have demanded a need for this in other topics so let's create a topic dedicated to overhauling these dinosaurs. They are responsible for the slow decay of our national game, they are responsible for so tragic results including being unable to beat teams like Azerbaijan and Macedonia and also losing to San Marino at under 21 level.

Is there a sub-law or something in the FIFA rules that states if a nation's supporters are unhappy with the way its governing body are running its football then they can be removed or have a new committee voted in or call a vote or something? ANYTHING?!

Is there a lawyer around here?

Would changing the FAW structure really make a difference to what happens on the pitch?

Personally I think its all about getting our best XI on the field and making them want to play for Wales with the same passion as the famous 1958 team.

We actually have a very good team when everyone is fit, although we do lack a striker in the John Hartson mould to lead the line and score goals.

IMO we should throw everything behind Coleman for the Euro Qualifiers and hope he can build the relationships with Premier/Football League Clubs so that players turn up for Wales, both metaphorically and physically.
