It's looking very unlikely that the FAW will get rid of Coleman, but who would you realistically want to replace him if he went?

Had the chance to appoint Lars Lagerback and we didn't. Look what he's doing with Iceland, still have a chance of qualifying for a World Cup, not bad for a nation which has near enough the same population of the city of Cardiff with some great players. I'd take Pulis in all honesty

Tony Pulis, Craig Bellamy or Ryan Giggs? John Toshack could be a possibility too? Better than Coleman that is for sure.

A foreign coach with a track record, Giggs/Bellers joint ticket, Gus Poyet etc etc. Show some imagination though please.

I do like the idea of a Welsh manager except I understand good managers are harder to come by than good players.
I would prefer a Welshman to have the job but if a better more qualified foreign manager comes along and W's start appearing next to our results and a better chance of qualification for competitions ill take it

Avram grant for me , experienced international and champions league manager , knows the british game , seems a nice guy and is very very good tactically . Could be a perfect fit for wales .
My other contenders would be :
Lawrie Sanchez- international experiance with a small country and a former premier league manager .
Tony pulis - for obvious reasons he's a top quality manager who would make us hard to beat .
Martin oneill - I really believe international football would suit him and would have respect of everybody .
Maybe a wild stab at a young exciting manager with fresh ideas on how the game is played ?
somebody like Karl Robinson at mk dons would be interesting appointment .

Now we have Bale and a decent midfield to put around him I can see a fair few more managers being interested than we would normally attract purely because they know they're not likely to manage a player as good as Bale at club level.

I know a lot of people are not particularly happy with how Pulis had Stoke playing, but I believe he'd make a better Wales manager than Coleman. I am still amazed that he lost his passport ffs and then had an unfit player on the bench! Totally ridiculous and so inept.

I agree - we must be a fairly attractive proposition to an ambitious manager.

Alex Ferguson. Now retired but so are most International managers for that matter
WFA should sell him the idea by pointing out he will final get to work with Gareth Bale plus he owes us for all those times he told Giggs to miss friendly matches

i actually disagree .... i think the manager of every country should be from that nation ... just like the players .... its always been every players dream to play for their country and i think thats how it should be .... ben turner summed it up last season ... top man ben

not being arrogrant but i've got a pretty decent managerial record on football manager....
we need in my opinion, a forigner, someone who's style of play is passing and builds up. i feel we got a team full of passers, but we seem to launch it to bale and if he aint playing we seem to play like its a training match
