Chuffed for the guy hes playing in the prem for us, stuck by us all the way, while some opted out eg Ledley, Bothroyd, may not be everyones cup of tea, but a true Cardiff man

Cobblers - your view is based on 1 season only. Have a look at previous seasons - including likes of play-off game away to Leicester and numerous other games where Whitts was man of match in second half of season.

Whitts form really changes, the goals does and sadly that's how some fans judge him and it's not a true reflection.

He is a good player brilliant delivery and set pieces and has been great for us at championship level he is not premiership quality I think he needs more to his game hope in wrong cant put a tackle in he has no pace had nearly 50 odd appearances for Villa in the prem and didn't Make it unfortunately I think it will be the same with us when we get more quality wide men in as well

If whitts only performs until January like we know he can it could be a big part in keeping us in premiership. His set pieces at the start of last season was unplayable.

Totally agree

His corners and free kicks can be sublime. I hope his skills combine with the obvious talents of Cornelius when he's fully fit. Could be the difference between staying up or going!!!!!

Agree that Whitts has faded after Xmas the last 2 seasons. Hopefully with there being less games in the prem that won't happen this year. Think his set pieces could be vital for us this year in staying up!

Less likely to burnout this season. He has been playing about 50 games a season for a few years. Now he will only play a max. of 38. So plenty of rest and less pressure as he is no longer our main player that everyone looks to, to deliver. He has help in being creative for once. No longer targeted by the opposition.

He's been our most consistent and best player for the last 6 years, he's Cardiffian through and through as well and deserves a lot more respect than some whoppers give him. He's an asset to this club and against Everton and Man City he was in our top 3 players easy.
I love Whittingham.

Last season in November not only did he stop scoring but from then on his passing and dead ball delivery was shite
