I, like many, am a massive FIFA fan!
I wonder what our player's ratings will be like?!
Maybe:
77 Caulker, Bellers, Medel
75 Cornelius, Marsh, Campbell
74 Whitts, Turner, Hudson, Tayls, Gunnar, Mutch, Maynard
73 Cowie, Conolly (if he's lucky!), Brayford
72 Mason, Gestede, Noone, Conway
69 Ralls, Nugent
67 John
Come on FIFA addicts what are your thoughts!?

They will be updated prior to release as stats are updated after every game.

Will be interesting, good to see an outside view and compare to others! However I will not lose a wink of sleep if they are underrated! Unlike a few of our gyspsys did back in their first season in the PL!

The actual UT ratings have been released. Be warned, they're atrocious.

Tell me about it. He didn't even deserve a downgrade, considering he was a pretty great player for Sevilla. This really is just a case of a player getting downgraded because of the team he plays for. Ridiculous.
Caulker, was also gold. He didn't deserve a downgrade. Honestly we should have 3 players rated above 75, which is Bellamy (arguable), Medel and Caulker.
Just behind them with 74-72 should be Campbell, Cornelius, Kim, Marshall, Gunnarsson and Hudson.
Heck, even Connolly didn't deserve the downgrade!
So much BS. Can't wait to change the ratings.

There's not a chance in hell those ratings are right. Also EA would have prevented player ratings being released early.

You do realise right these guys have been doing this thing for several years now? They can get the database somehow and get them. The ratings aren't fake. They might not be 100% accurate because some will change, but right now, these are very close to final. This site is very reliable.

These are extremely hopeful predictions. We'll be slightly better then what we were on '13 with our best player likely to be rated 74 or 75. How you think Gestede should be 72 and the likes of Ralls, Nugent and John high 60's is very optimistic

Doesn't matter what their ratings are.....im still going too win the champions league with them

For me these are bang on pretty much. John, Ralls and Mason should have good potential. Maybe as much as 79 for John.
I am in the hat (second phase) for doing CCFC ratings for Fifa 14. This is not to say I will end up getting the chance to forward my stats. It's a voluntary thing anyway and it really isn't a big deal at all. I suspect a few people have their say for each club.
Anyway, I will bookmark this page and take everyone's opinion into account if I do end up doing it.
So can everyone also edit/add what they think player potentials are. For example I think it's ok for Cornelius to a 71 despite being a £7.5m player providing he has good potential. Also can people add in more youth players as well. I want to get in the likes of Tommy O'Sullivan, Oshilala, Coulson etc in the game if possible.
Cheers babes.

Theophile was 74 on the last game..... So the above comment can't be right

Look at individual stats rather than overall ratings - the overall is pretty meaningless.
Medel's stats have actually barely changed, it is only the method of calculating the overall which has changed. Either that, or they've made him 73 for FUT to be a more expensive card. (They can fix overall ratings - look at the 89-rated Messi card they released when he broke the goals in a year record. It means absolutely nothing).

They haven't changed their method, otherwise every top player such as Messi, Ronaldo would have a completely different OVR compared to FIFA 13.
If they wanted him expensive they would've put him at 74 for UT. They change OVR but in most cases the starting OVR when the game is released is not changed. They haven't done it before, so why would they do it now for a bloke who plays for Cardiff? Rather pointless to be honest. It really is weird though with Medel. I just don't get it. They probably understood his stats were fair but because he joined Cardiff made his OVR low.
Honestly, the stats for Cardiff are dire anyway, so it fits the OVR. Kim has 72 dribbling there yet anyone who's seen him play knows he is much better than that, with such a superb first touch. The whole ratings are just terrible, and it has nothing to do with UT or the OVR. In general, the attributes just suck.

Take it from someone who works for EA - it's not a dig at Cardiff! His long passing has gone down according to that database, which would have an effect on his overall rating. The method for calculating overalls is different for every player, so if they decided to make passing ability more valuable for a CDM, then Medel's overall would take a knock.
This database is COMPLETELY UNCONFIRMED and I wouldn't be surprised if Medel's overall was completely different when the game is released (certainly in regular play, and possibly on Ultimate Team as well).
As for Kim, half a season's worth of appearances aren't enough to judge him properly on by EA standards. Also, he can only be ranked relative to other Championship level players until he has had a decent amount of games at Premier League level. Even then, only gradual changes are allowed to player stats. If he keeps up his current form, the improvement will come!

I'm sorry but Fifa are harsh but like fifa 13 we all went they seriously under rated our players but my predictions would be these, Fifa really do take into account the contracts, age and form altogether and they will be harsh over the overall like Bellamy's overall will be either the same or under to fifa 13 rating.

Taking bias out of the equation, Bellamy isn't what he used to be, even compared to that start of last season. He has lost some of his pace, and only scoring 4 last year will have an effect as well.

They look like they're pretty accurate.
Here's the top 50 for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Just saw a career mode vid. Cardiff get £5.5m for transfers and £350,000 for wages. That's on lenient setting. Can't remember if you can change another setting at the start to get more money.
These figures could change by the time the game comes out...

Oh I know it isn't. Not at all, just a terrible mistake. The problem I think is that in FIFA 13 he was a CM, this time he's a CDM. I don't see why it should change too much because if anything his stats are better for the CDM role, but there you go.
Considering FIFA YouTubers already have access to UT, the UT ratings are pretty much 100%. The final game changes will be made, and I think what we see will be altered. If we don't have at least one 75+ player, something is wrong.

No they won't. Things like cash and what not is pretty much done. That's all that's left is fine tuning things such as ratings.
