Ok appointment once this mess is hopefully cleared up but too early just yet and wouldn't accept it whilst he's still playing. He'll want a few years as coach at United before taking control of a team. Plus he doesn't turn up for friendlies, we'd be fucked!

Doesn't matter who the manager is - we will still be Shite!!

IMO Giggs would be perfect, he would get fans back on side, he has learnt from the best. I do wonder how settled he is feeling under Moyes who seems to be making United a bit of a shambles.

In Bellamys book he mentioned how he really believed Giggs would become a top top manager because although he isn't loud when he speaks you listen.

You also know he would bring good staff, a few United coaches out of work ATM.

Totally disagree. We were playing well under speed with the same players.
Greece won a euros, not having the best players don't mean you can't achieve.

Giggs pretty advertised himself for the job a few weeks ago. It could definately be on the cards if the FAW act on it.

Cons

1. Clash with his playing career.
2. Comittment to the job. Would he stay there if success came. Remember Mark Hughes leaving us mid campaign. DIsgrace.

Pros

1. Every player would turn out for Giggs.
2. He would do well to persuade the likes of Lloyd Jones (Exciting Liverpool prospect at centre half) to choose Wales.
3. He has seemed very focused at becoming a manager for a while. Couple this drive with his playing talent and he should make a great coach.
4. Giggs was a player who improved dramatically as a player through his career - through coaching and training. He could pass this knowledge on.
5. Has played the game at the highest level. Most Wales managers haven't.
6. He is young. Has modern ideas. Understands the modern game inside out.
7. He would get us playing with a quick and purposeful tempo. The major thing Wales fail to do.
8. Played for two decades under his mentor SAF.

Think he'll call it a day with playing after this year.

Would be the perfect manager. Future MUFC manager for sure.

He's the most celebrated player in the UK. A lot of people look up to him.

Problem is SAF doesn't seem to have passed on much of his managerial skills to his former players (poss exceptions of Hughes & Bruce). Most others have been crap

Pointless having Giggs as Welsh manager as he'd never turn up for friendlies!

Obviously just playing under sir Alex doesn't make you a good manager but it can't hurt. Giggs has done it over a long period of time and is well respected. Obviously amazingly professional to be playing at his age and still at United. Bellamy mentioned about his qualities.

Mark Hughes's first job was Wales. He almost got us qualified. I think Giggs will make a much better manager.

Well we went for the non name in Coleman and that's failed.

We know Giggs is a top pro and got all the contacts in the game.
Gut instinct says he would be perfect.
