Don't know if anyone has heard of these, they're smart watches that link up with your iPhone/android device, you can read your texts&emails on them, it tells you who's calling ect ect very exciting gadget!
Anyway I got mine today, cracked open the SDK package and created this watch face!

Don't mean to piss on your chips mate but if I were ever to get a smart watch I would expect something better than that with todays technology. It looks like a tamagotchi.

I know what you mean but they purposely chose that display, and it's the best smart watch on the market atm, getting amazing reviews

Its an e-ink display I believe isn't it James? similar to what they use on a kindle. Means it's easier to read in sunlight and the battery will last for ages. It does look good if not a bit pricey.

Just had a quick look and the apple Sony and Samsung ones are more of what I am thinking of when I think of a smart watch.
As long as it serves its purpose though

That's right!
The customisability is amazing too, so much out there for it, the SDK kit basically lets you edit it how you want, and there are a lot of pre-made apps from third party users/developers already, I believe this watch will be able to do so much, and we are only scratching the surface.
And I can play old school snake on it!
