Just bought my Hull ticket. Amazed

Thu Sep 05, 2013 4:03 pm

That the coach I go on has only 18 booked!
Struggling to get names. (There were 66 on it for W Ham)
This game is massive.
A six pointer.
30 quid.

We really need to support our boys.

Come on and let's get amongst them :ayatollah:

It will be like that all season vs the smaller teams

IF you think we were there only a couple of months ago plus the fact that its a fair old trek up north you can see why the numbers going arent great
I just hope the fans that do go make plenty of noise and get behiund the boys.Probably the most important of our first six fixtures in my opinion.

Re: Just bought my Hull ticket. Amazed

I seem to remember that we were making excuses about not going to Hull
And selling out last season
'Already promoted' and 'keeping my money for prem"
"Too far" etc

I just thought that with the. Many thousands ofseason ticket
holders and gold members etc

That we would be filling allocations easily.
This could be an opportunity for a fan who can't get a home ticket
to see us play

Spurs is now on a sunday too -so less heavy beer money!!

Come on fans - get off your pub armchair and keep the support going.

I think this is a huge game.

Any idea how many have been sold? When I bought mine last week it said seat 658 or something, no row number or anything else, so I assumed that was how many?

Missing this one due to work, but was an amazing atmosphere last season.

I'm sure we will sell more but it's a long journey and again money for people to find.

Can't be arsed as I went up there for the last game a few months ago

I'm going to Hull but I never expected us to sell out for this game.

That's the attitude "can't be arsed" the game a few months ago was a C'ship game this is a Prem game, if you said you had no money or work nothing you could do about that but "can't be arsed"

Would love to go to Hull, had a brilliant time there last season. Have to choose which to games to go to and we are off to Fulham and Norwich :ayatollah:

Re: Just bought my Hull ticket. Amazed

Absolute trek, horrible place and therefore don't want to spend money going there.

Appreciate the team need support but if they had the choice to pay up to a £100 for a day in Hull they'd say f*** off too.

If money grew on trees I may consider otherwise but it doesn't, i think people who constantly say why aren't people going, need a reality check that excuses are made because people are skint

Is it really that amazing?

I have seen many good reasons posted why supporters can't go and I personally would be amazed if we did sell out a mid-week trek to Hull. On the other hand if the point of this thread is to highlight your personal commitment then obviously you have done well, but that doesn't mean everyone else has to.

Oh so just because it's a Premier League game I should be going

I don't want to travel 5+ hours then 5+ hours back for a game I attended just a few months ago.. when I can go down the pub with hundreds of other Cardiff fans, watch the game for free, save my money and be home in less than 30 minutes.

2200 went in May which isn't a bad following it all. It's over the one thousand barrier apparently so that's fine. I don't see why people are having a go just because it's a Premier League game now. So what? It's still the same shitty ground that we all went to in May. It's a crap away day, the game made it last season

Ok so you couldn't be arsed to go to Hull, but an away trip and Cardiff normally means a package , so if you can't be arsed to go to Hull you can't be arsed to watch Cardiff at Hull

Tony

The word amazed may be debatable but
The facts are clear.

We have sold out season tickets
At least 24000 home fans
Up to 10000 gold/silver/ambassador and
'Won't go to CCS' fans.

That's the biggest fan base we have had in my 30 years of following

Couple this with our first and only Premier season to date.

I would assume that many many fans who are not making home matches
And
Will not get tickets for the BIG away games
May attend
PLUS
This is a winnable match against our regulation rivals.

Thus

I'm genuinely fuckin amazed!!!!!!!

What does that matter? Do you only go to grounds once? You go to support the team not to look at the surroundings, its just a building, you go watch the football and cheer the boys on.

Re: Just bought my Hull ticket. Amazed

I've been to Hull 3 times and I will be going again next Saturday. £30 for a ticket in the Premiership is cheap as chips. I'm having a quiet weekend in this weekend so I don't spend much. I can spend £100 on a day out to Hull next Saturday then. I mean it isn't a mid week game and we haven't played this weekend, so I too am shocked we haven't sold more. It will be Odemwingie's debut too!

What's your problem with me not wanting to travel to Hull? I don't give a shit about the place.

Chill the f**k out and stop making assumptions, I'll do what I want
