Saturday league up here and the standard is shocking. One good team - Bluebirds (named after a toy company not CCFC) and the rest are gash.

Theres 2 leagues. 8 in the prem and about 15 in the 2nd division. The teams who get "promoted" are so shit they are too scared to join the prem so they stay down.

That Merthyr Can Dac Suite I assume are a bunch of Merthyr supporters who play in a South Wales Sunday league but there is no Sunday Merthyr league.

Bluebirds haven't won the league for 2 seasons polo! But I've heard they got a real good team this year and are gonna smash the league.
Funny you mention about teams not getting promoted because all the times bluebirds have won the league they've never opted to get into the South Wales amateur league

That was due to finance and most of the players had already played amuteur or welsh league so didn't want to travel. Been the best team for yrs bar the last 2 where they've struggled to get teams. They are back now tho.

Thats cos they best players work away or on the rails and they rarely had they best XI out especially midweek.
They just a bunch of mates who like a beer and a craic and as Bluesince92 said they didnt want the travelling.
The likes of Aboo, Kerry Jones, Rhydian Owen, Keiron Mcarthy and Bluesince 92 himself have played Welsh league and could walk into any Welsh league team in the Merthyr borough.
The got a new gaffer now, up and coming young coach, and hes added some quality new signings. They will piss the league this year. Probably go all season unbeaten.

Bluebirds played a friendly against one of the sides over here a couple of seasons ago. They were superb to be fair. Real high standard

Yes Real Madras. Not seen them myself yet but supposed to be a good young side. Playing them tomorrow. Bluebirds too strong this yr and should win. Abercanaid have had a mixed start so far but are always strong. They should av won it last yr to be fair.

Kid for Madras in work said they went 2-0 up aginst Shaun Cronins Pant, but then Pant got physical with them. A few players went hiding so they let it slip to 2-2.

Besides being footballers Bluebirds are no strangers to mixing it as you well know
