Wed Sep 04, 2013 7:48 pm

Players

Palace 15
Sunderland 14
Hull 11
Swansea 10
West Brom 10

Quantity not quality surely, how close could that be to the Upside down Premier League final table?????

Pretty close I reckon.....

Take Swansea out of it and it could be close.

Swans mid table for me. Us about 15th.

I am watching the footballers football show, all talk very highly of our crowd, Malky and our signings.

The general opinion, he has strengthened the spine, Rednapp likes the signings Caulker, Medel, Odemwingie, talks very highly stating we have the best aproach of quality rather than quantity :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :malky:

Logic says they should be ok based on last season and pre season, but I have a funny feeling all's not right there??

I am not sure on there signings, and I think Europe will be harder than they think, and their fans think they are better than they are, so may get on their backs at home? I honestly think they may end up in the bottom five.

Annis has had the same feeling for a few years now. Dr has diagnosed it as jackenvy.

Jacks won't be as high as 9th again, but can't see them anywhere near the relegation scrap. About 12th I'd say is right for them just now.

12th and a serious europa cup campaign would do me fine.

I think you'll get one or the other, can't see both.

I guess Swansea will be around 12th, they won't complain considering the tough season they have.

The Europa League will be a poison chalice for the Jacks. They have to hope that early season form will be enough to keep them out of danger in the Premier League because the sheer numbers of games will take its toll on what looks a threadbare squad by the end of the season. They will be teetering on the edge come May. Would much prefer them to stay in the Premier League because it keeps the interest high for us in Cardiff but my prediction for them is that the Championship is where they will be heading and a good Europa League run will be poor consolation. :ayatollah:

there's about as much chance of nailing jelly as the jacks being involved in a relegation battle

top 10 and with some ease

Threadbare squad? A squad with no major departures that finished 9th and won a trophy and about a dozen new players. a squad that the manager feels gives him loads of options. care to explain how thats threadbare? As for the rest of the post its annis like in its desperation and hope.

f**k the jacks - let's concentrate on ourselves.

Wishing them shite or good position is something to be discussed
On their MBs, not ours.

They are our rivals for 2 games imo

Other than that, I dont give two fucks for them.
Whether they play in russia or rochdale.

Writing about them (good or bad) just makes us look
Interested, envious and sad.

We had had a good start but need to keep momentum
Club and fans.
A truly massive season ahead
