"my God, this guy really has the spirit of the club"

No he doesn't, he's changed it all for his own personal preference.

"He’s got Cardiff soul, this great Malaysian"

No he hasn't, he destroyed Cardiff soul...

Tan is loving all this attention, making us a laughing stock is the price we pay forthis mans ego trip.

Eeeugh, what an embarrasing cringeworthy song.

Cardiff Soul?

The man hasn't got a clue about Cardiff soul, suggesting he has is an insult to the city.

they're from limerick so have no idea.

Just lighten up a bit - they also made a song about Obama's Irish ancestry, so a little tongue in cheek.

Just pointing out the errors about him having Cardiff's soul, when in fact, he totally dismissed it.

I've heard nothing but a lot of praise for Cardiff recently nothing at all suggesting that we are a laughing stock (apart from certain rival fans whom would find something else to be wum about if it wasn't for the rebrand & I couldn't give a flying fook what they think anyway) seen plenty of soul at the stadium recently also ;-)

Praise from pundits doesn't mean that the rebrand was the right thing to do ..

I've seen plenty of soul too, not the same soul as Cardiff City FC though... :?

Don't see anybody else harping on as much as you, so perhaps other people realise that they've made their point and don't see the need to incessantly take over every thread, with their points then!

Oh well.. Good for them. Nobody will stop me posting my views on the rebrand and the man that thought it up, especially when There are ridiculous songs like this made up about him.

Now please stop derailing this thread.

You derailed the thread ridiculously early, as the OP was about a song made up by some Irish people about VT, who I suspect would probably have a good laugh at it!

You however, probably couldn't laugh, as it would most likely break your jaw!

Bit ironic having a username with the word Chuckle in it!

Nope, my comments were linked to the opening post about the song & how the lyrics are factually incorrect...

Your comments about only being able to say an opinion a few times, well that has nothing at all to do with the topic. :? & was followed up by a personal attack. Only one person derailing things here.

PS I'm glad that you can laugh about VT eroding this clubs identity bit by bit... Because I can't.

THE Malaysian music charts have responded to Limerick duo The Corrigan Brothers, after they recorded and released a song dedicated to Cardiff City FC owner, Vincent Tan.

The song, entitled ‘Vincent Tan - What A Man!’, will be officially released in Malaysia on Tuesday, September 10. The duo have also booked their flights to the Asian nation to do a series of television performances.

The song was inspired by the owner’s reaction to his club’s victory over Man City.

“It was brilliant to see Vincent out on the pitch, with a big smile on his face and a Cardiff shirt over his business suit. It was real passion and real delight. We thought his antics should be captured in song,” Limerick guitarist Ger Corrigan said.
