Jerome, Puncheon, Jack Hunt are good signings to be fair.

I get the feeling your right about Puncheon he could have been a good signing for us. Palace fans are already singing his praises.

Don't know much about Jack Hunt, that Campana looked good and I think Gayle and Chamakh will get goals.
Elliot Grandin though? :|

Hull have done well, we've done great biz.

Palace have gone mad.

Remind me of that old fast show sketch

'Did you get the milk dear?'
'Even better than that dear, I got some biscuits shaped like radios, a map of cairo and an ice pick'

Crystal Palace have further strengthened their squad with the signing of midfielder Adlene Guedioura from Nottingham Forest concluding a flurry of activity in the transfer market by the Eagles.

The three-year deal for the Algeria international was announced nearly 14 hours after the transfer window had closed but, because part of the deal was in place before the 11pm deadline on Monday night had elapsed, the move was sanctioned.

Guedioura, 27, had spent a year-and-a-half at the City Ground after initially moving across the Midlands on-loan from Wolves.

Late swoop: Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway completed the key parts of the transfer before the 11pm deadline
He signed a permanent deal at Forest last summer and impressed for much of the season and is renowned for his long-range shooting ability.

Palace manager Ian Holloway, who saw his side collect their first points of the Barclays Premier League season with victory over Sunderland on Saturday, had already completed deadline day deals taking Jack Hunt, Adrian Mariappa and Barry Bannan to the club, with Cameron Jerome joining on-loan from Stoke later in the evening.

They join Stephen Dobbie, Dwight Gayle, Jerome Thomas, Jose Campana, Kevin Phillips, Elliot Grandin, Marouane Chamakh, Neil Alexander, Florian Marange and Jason Puncheon through the doors at Selhurst Park as Holloway looks to build a team capable of achieving Premier League survival.

Malkys kept the nucleus of the side which is important and added some good quality players.
I'm very happy with our business in the transfer window and think we'll do well with probably a couple more to come in January.

I rate this guy and if this lad gets space outside the box, he will score. One hell of a strike.

In terms of the three promoted clubs, I'd say it was us.

In terms of the Prem as a whole, it's probably Everton - they milked United for all they were worth over Fellaini, and got Barry and McCarthy as well..

But they overpaid for Mccarthy. They done well with selling players (Felliani 27m and Anchiebe 6m) but I think Liverpool done the best as a whole.

Palace brought in 19 players in the summer and even though they made a large number of signings on deadline day they missed out on another 2 ! :o

Having problems cutting/paste. Besides the Palace players named above they all brought in Jimmy Kebe, Jake Nicholson, Osman Sow and Ismail H'Maidat. Make that 20 !

Malky always says that its not about getting bodies in. He also says its about adding to the team. The question is have they just got bodies in or have they added to their team?

It seems like a bit of both to me but its no good having half a doezen mediocre players and 14 not up to scratch surely? Is that what they have do you think?

Its apparent that some of their fans are not all that confident if you look at their forum, this post just about sums it up.

We was told there would be a club record signing. We was told 5 Players was coming on and the Palace fans will be excited when its announced who we got. I dont want to be no Chelsea type of club but when your club gets promoted you at least expect a few exciting signings from the big play-off payday. We needed a premiership class defender with experience. I would of been happy with Gallas.

We was meant to be after:
Odemeingie, Gallas, A Johnson, Bendtner, Bent, Barton, Parker, D Bent, Vaz Te, Chalobah, Ulloa, Mcmanoman, S W Phillips, Tamas, Bridcutt, Larsson, Bartra, Benayoun, Mollo, D Rose, Townsend, D Vaughan, Montero, T Ince, M Phillips, Austin, Ibrahim, Deeney, S Sinclair and that's only the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

We got:
Guediora, Campana, Puncheon, Kebe, Gayle, Chamakh, Hunt, Dobbie, Phillips, Mariappa, Marange, Bannan, Jerome, Alexander, Thomas, Grandin.

Im pleased with Campana, Puncheon, Chamakh and Dobbie bit surely we should of been aiming higher then what we got? We have signed loads of players bit it should be about having more quality then the quantity. We was promised a Zaha replacement. Where is he? I dont expect someone as good as Wilfy but I do expect alot better then what we have got! We got £120m for winning the play-offs and £15m for Zaha and then we go and build a good Championship quality side out of it while Hull and Cardiff go for it. Its not good enough and the Palace faithful deserve better when we are paying premiership ticket prices. Lower the ticket prices Parish! Its disgusting!

Out of those - Definitely Us, Cardiff City.

Altogether - Probably Liverpool. I think they did well to hang on to Suarez as well and will probably manage top 4.

Im guessing the late signings have lightened their mood. I seriously doubt they will stay up,let alone finish above us with their completely new squad it will ne hard to hit the ground running and win those vital early points!

Time will have to be the judge of those signings and our strength and resolve though.
