There already is one.

i agree we got to give the man credit for spending his money like he said he would

Re: Vincent tan smiley

He gets enough credit as it is.

He needs more criticism for dismissing 100 years of history as being 'unlucky'.

If he reversed the silly rebrand I'll personally carve out a statue of him.

Nah mate, it's for anyone who places the opportunity to see Wayne Rooney in the flesh above the clubs identity.

Glad I could help.

What a stand you have made by still attending matches. You really showed Tan how disgusted the rebrand has made you.

Thousands hate the rebrand and still go to matches.

What is the point in me not going when some tosser who used to mock Cardiff City and support Man Utd would take my place and sit there like a mug in his Man Utd coloured kit?

I sing pro-blue stuff, I buy nothing from the club except my ST, I increasingly support B.U. and I constantly bring the rebrand debate to the fore because Tan CANNOT get away with what he's done without a fight!

If more people were like me, we'd be looking like CCFC now.

True there are thousands of fans who hate the rebrand but attend matches, I'm one of them. Like you I only buy my ST from the club and wear blue to home games. Where we differ is I accept that if someone wants to invest £120m but puts a condition on for that investment they are perfectly entitled to do so before handing over their cash.

The vast majority of fans have understood the position and don't act in a bloody minded way towards VT for what he has done. Tradition changes all the time and we are simply going through a phase in our history where we play in red.

Why there has to be this personal vitriol towards a man who simply saved our club in exchange for a colour change is beyond me and the question does have to be asked that if you feel this badly out it then walk away from the club.

It's no good expecting others to do it for you, if YOUR principled enough then YOU WALK.

Re: Vincent tan smiley

Tue Sep 03, 2013 3:34 pm

People can and will react to the rebrand as they wish.

I don't expect others to walk. I do expect CCFC fans to be proud of colours, identity and bluebird and not buy red shirts. I think fans who buy red are selling the club short, but it is their right to do that.

I'm happy to endorse the good that Tan has done, but for me it's all been undermined by the stupid rebrand.

As a person, everything else aside, I think Tan does seem like a selfish person who expects people to shower him with love. I think he's behaved in an arrogant and disrespectful manner towards the club and our supporters, and I'm not afraid to say that.

Come on guys lets not be personal about it, some like the rebrand others don't, but I still think we could make a funny smiley of him!

Not bothered what teams I see play have seen most of them like many have, just would like to see Cardiff continue to play rather it be in the prem but will continue what ever league they play in & whatever colour they are playing in. I certainly won't waste every moment of my time stressing over Cardiffs colours & try belittling people who don't have the same opinion as my self. ;-)

Cardiffkid i admire your stance. Criticise others for selling out so they can get premier league football but then still going to the games. Lol.

If i hate donuts i don't buy them, make them or eat them. By attending you defeat your own argument os there is obviously still a Cardiff identity or else you wouldn't go??

Re: Vincent tan smiley

I'm in Belgrade now, I've given a spare ccfc programme and sticker to the John Bull british pub, in two days time ill be in Skopje and I've got a shirt to give to a good friend out there... (Ill take a pic and upload it) surely it's about spreading the love for our team, and getting us out there? We are great supporters and known for it throughout Great Britain, lets get us known worldwide!! :malky:

I'm a Cardiff City fan. A blackmailer and a disrespector of the bluebird won't change that.

I never call anyone a sell out. I will gladly criticise anyone who has the lack of self respect to wear red shirts, but at the same time, it is their choice, just like it's my choice to criticise that decision because I think it is an insult to the history of our club.

What bugs the hell out of me is that there are people going to games now who wear the red shirts who I know for a fact used to take the piss out of me (and others) for watching City only a few years ago.

I'm all for new fans, but our club is slipping away from us and we should frikking well stand up for it.

I've seen you mention others taking the piss out for supporting city years ago & now they are supporting city, and wearing Red to be honest Kid your coming across very bitter.

Re: Vincent tan smiley

Tue Sep 03, 2013 7:56 pm

I'm bitter as hell.

Our club is slowly being eradicated and morphing into something designed purely to appeal to Far Eastern businessmen. Slowly but surely it's going, all that will be left is that it happens to play in Cardiff.

It makes me sick to see it, and while people are free to do as they wish, seeing City fans in red shirts hugely disappoints me. I thought more of our support than that.

I'll take it for a while longer, but I'm a Cardiff City fan and Tan is pushing me out.

I remain hugely proud of our true identity, but if other fans don't care then it's pointless.

Given that I'm standing up for it's true identity and am not prepared to don Bristol City colours just because a man wants to make himself more popular to far eastern businessmen, yes, damn it I am 100% proud of our clubs true identity. The below seems to offend too many of our fans. Wear it with pride I say.
