25 man squad - Who's being shipped out ?

Just adding up our players this morning and I think there's going to be at least 3 players who thought they may have been included in the 25 man Prem squad which maybe now surplus to requirements.
So who do you think is on borrowed time ?

Is this including under 21's? They aren't included in 25-man squads.

I make it that we now have 29 over 21's. That means 4 will have to be excluded from the squad. Lappin, Velikonja and Kiss are certainties to be excluded . The other one I think will come from:

Cowie
Smith
Kev
Gestede
Mason

My choice would be Smith but I think Malky will choose Conway - unless he avoids the issue by sending Mason or Gestede out on a season long loan

As far as I can think this is all of the squad so we need to offload 2 players I reckon Velikonja and Lappin will be offloaded.

No they don't unless they have changed the rules this season. Both born in December 1991.

I think the rule is 'Under 21 when the competition starts'. As they are currently 21, I think they are ok.

Unless they have changed it recently the rule is that they have to be under 21 on 1 January in the year the competition starts One way or another we will find out for certain soon.
