seen last night hull agreed a club record £5m deal of WBA striker shane long, but it fell through, i know we got odemwingie and others now but long for only £5m is a bargain. hes pacey, and can finish, and imo, a faster better younger fraizer

WBA wouldn't sell him as the failed in getting in a loan striker in, how did Malky miss a trick with that one

Yes but they wouldn't let long go unless they could loan Lukaku

Malky would have missed a trick if he went for long and ended up with no one.

Would've been the best striker at this club, put it that way! Not negative just true. In short - is wba were willing to sell then yes. One and a half Longs or Cornelius, I know who id take. Yes Cornelius has potential, but a decent club like ourselves woyldve been able to get him in a few years, provided we stay PL. Think about it, if he was destined to be a world star he'd have had more ambition and taken arsenal up on theyre offer

didn't think much of him when we played Ireland the other week. Rickets of all defenders was marking him and didn't get passed him all evening. so, glad malky hasn't signed him
