Odemwingie's agent confirmed it hours ago, but clearly something must have held things up if it only went through 2 minutes before the deadline!

I think West Brom held it up...not sure why, hope they were not just being childish, bit pathetic really...all sorted our end this afternoon,that is why the agent went on TV

They probably wanted to make sure they had cover. Sensible for them. Both Long and Odemwingie were wanted and they could have been left with nothing so it was sensible of them to wait and allow the formalities to only be completed when they were assured that they could get a player in to replace them.

Can see why they would hold things up in Long's case, but as Clarke has frozem Odemwingie out since January, I can't see why they'd hold this one up!
