We've just spoken to sources in Wigan who tell us the Lactics want around £10m for Callum McManaman - a fee we understand Cardiff will NOT be willing to pay.

He isn't worth that money mind, 5m maybe 6m seems about right to me.
Anything can happened tho, he may kick up a fuss, Wigan may see someone who can replace him etc

Fee always likely to be an issue. From the start of the summer Wigan were allegedly quoting figures of 15m-20m for McCarthy and McManaman. Wigan want to cash in on their prize assets. Cannot see City pay silly money for McManaman.

10 million is a lot but he's better than Ince, with prem experience and we were willing to pay 8 mill for him

It's a shame that e can't get him but he's not worth that much or even half that amount IMO.

Think £7m is about as much as I would fork out.
Don't see Malky thinking £10m is value for money.
He refused Wanyama at £12m and got Medel at £8.5m.
Should Wigan demand £10m will Malky produce another gem out of the blue?
