His record and experience in the this league would be difficult find elsewhere, I wouldn't be underwhelmed, but I think we could find better.

said this in another thread, doesnt excite me, but he's a good proven PL player, kind of a safe option

He's not even an option for a team who hasn't scored a goal this season yet !!

By the looks of our spending Vincent Tans been shitting pound coins so we should get messi!
On a serious note I think we should sign him if we cant get better players here before the window shuts. Hes better than we have here.

Because of the QPR thing.

I would be un-impressed if the only player that came in was Odemwingie. He is a very experienced Premiership striker and knows where the net is but i don't think that he is a Malky type of player. He isnt the type of player that will run all over the pitch and work his socks off. Sometimes he is lazy and looks un-interested and when things do not go his way, he tends to throw his toys out of the pram. I think a player like that could disrupt the squad, which as we are altogether as one at the moment, it would be a disaster, As i do get the feeling that the players would do anything for each other and for Malky. If he does come then i will support him as he would be a City player and i would love for him to prove me wrong and for him to fit seemlessly in to the squad as if he has been here a year or two and without showing any of his old bad habits. I would be very happy if we signed Odemwingie and we also signed a winger and another striker.
Bloooooobirds.

I think he would be a solid squad player, inject pace when needed in a game..

We need a wide man and someone who can play up front (currently we have 3 injury prone strikers and Rudy). Odemwingie can play out wide or up front, and is proven at this level. That and the fact that he'll cost less than £3m means he'd be a great signing for me.
That said, I'm also hoping that we get Callum McManaman. I really think we'll struggle to break down the lesser teams when we're at home if we don't bring in two wide men today.

Definitely isn't a Malky type player. Aaron Lennon on the other hand would raise a few eyebrows if Malky brought him to the CCS

We don't need him but he'd be a decent signing.

Bit misleading, thats nothing to do with his quality but what happened last January.
Id have preferred a younger more exciting type of winger but for a few million he is proven and will do a good job. He would certainly add a extra to the squad and can cover across the front.

Certainly not. Offers experience and goals.
Mon Sep 02, 2013 12:41 pm
Good signing I think, if people keep slating him about the QPR thing then good for you but if you believe the agent didn't have something to do with that then your fools! - this is my opinion!

I would be whelmed
