stewarding at ccs

What is with the stewarding I was asked.to show.my ticket 3 times before I got to my seat then I went back to the bar area and on my way back was asked a further 3 times. I said why and they said so we can tell you where you are sitting. Ffs I've been in the same seat for 4 yrs. Next home game if everyone refuses to show their tickets they might get the message to fu## off

I've never been asked to show my ticket inside the ground - you must look well dodgy!

A few times last season numpties were going wherever they fancied, I had to ask some to move on a couple of occasions as we were so bunched up my daughter couldn't see, we are in the Canton. so the stewards are making sure people are in the correct areas.

I got asked once inside the ground too, my 2 mates looked at the stewards then just strolled over to their seats

There is sense in it though to be fair

I thought the same, in the Canton usual steward not there haven't produced the season ticket since the first game at the CCS. Had a bunch of YTS by the look of things who wanted to look at every ticket every time.

Seen one guy trying it on big time yesterday - he tried getting into the ground using last years season ticket!

Never been asked inside the stadium, I did think yesterday there were far more people being searched then I've seen previously...

I got asked once last week vs Man City, but not this week; plus I've had my pockets searched when I'm carrying a bottle, however yesterday I was wearing a backpack, and I wasn't stopped once nor asked for my ticket!
Security needs sorting out IMO

PFFT! If every person with a back pack was searched how would the terrorists get in!?

I'm all in favour of checking people are in the right place. I stand in the middle of the Canton, the numbers trying to squeeze in makes standing unsafe. And its not just the occassional mate of, with 4 into 3 seats, its been as much as 6/8 into 3 seats in the row, which spills over into others. Its my seat f<>k off I got pushed over seating a few years ago & spent the weekend in hospital & a few weeks off work as the result!

I just walk past them. acknowledge the one bald security guy whos always there

I always get asked, once when I go up the steps, another when I get to the top of those steps, and again when I start walking up to my seat.

Never happened last season

The stewards last year by 105 always knew who me and my mate was as we always spoke to them and had any trouble, got different ones by us on the bottom and been asked loads.
