Must admit his quality is coming through, three games in with very little English, and he is already dominating games. His organisation and demand for performance is worth it's weight in gold.
I thought Cowie was fit, but to track back and do what he does for 90 mins will buy us points throughout this season, easily a future club captain in 12 months.
I think Ben has turned a few heads, looked an easy premier defender in the past two games and he's changing my mind on his the best partnership at CCFC. I honestly thought Hudson should be there, but him and Caulker look very solid and organised and Up against Fellaini they looked comfortable.
Taylor, well nothing on young Declan but he doesn't look out of place in the PL. I really worry about Connolly but I think after time to bed in, Kevin will come in as first choice RB.
Campbell, at £650k he is easily, the best pound for pound player at the club, he puts fear into and defender with his direct running and pace, and is easily our first choice striker as long as he is fit.
Nobody can argue,after a poor and heartless showing at West Ham, I think we're finding our feet and up against two top sides, we look comfortable and could have won it today. A few passes around the edge of the area could have fallen into place and given us some great chances at goal.
Overall a very good day and i look forward to Hull Away.
