A great point to take from a game that we were outplayed in. The tempo seemed lower than last week and as a result Everton were not closed down so quickly and they had a lot of the ball.
The most frustrating thing was the fact we had 4/5 opportunities to shoot on goal on the edge of the box. Instead none of the players took it on and Howard was on holiday in the Everton goal. In the first 20 minutes Gunnar had two chances to shoot but decided not too. Opportunities do not come around so easy in the Premiership hence when you have them you have to take them. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I wish MM would tell the players to shoot . A classic near the end when Connolly was played in on his stronger foot. He had the opportunity to shoot but instead opted to cut back onto his weaker foot and a defender came across and made the tackle. The goalie may fumble, there could be a deflection, just shoot !
Thought Kimbo was outstanding and great to come away with a point against a 'top team'.
