Unless they splash the cash on some shrewd quality signings they are buggered. They looked toothless in front of goal and Baines was their only real outlet over the 90. Barkley had a few good runs but most of the time just had to back track or go wide.

Without Baines I think they'll struggle. Fellaini as well, absolute scumbag but a scumbag they will miss. He is just a massive figure in their line up that is disruptive.

How they do this season is all going to be down to how Martinez spends the money if they do end going to United.

We were lucky at times but you get luck here and there over the season. We should have had a pen vs West Ham so there you go.

I agree with Annis' view that they will be a shadow of themselves this season. Very resilient at the back but looked a bit toothless going forward.

I was more impressed with Medel and Kim than any of their players today.

Swansea fans felt the same too, this certainly isnt a Moyes Everton. Too much tippy tappy and not enough goal threat.... Thankfully.
