We looked out of ideas when Bellamy and Kim went off though - we started playing a lot of hoofball then, and it was as if Maynard and Campbell were stood on the opposite side of a river to the rest of the team for all the chance they had of getting the ball to their feet...

You have to remember where at the beginning,Everton have been there for a long time.

Any points taken off the top ten are good points. Remember that Everton finished 6th last season. The teams we need to beat will be those in the bottom half like Hull, Palace, Fulham, Sunderland, Stoke and Newcastle....and the jacks of course.
