Yossi Benayoun - anyone?

Would anyone want Yossi Benayoun? Never good enough for Chelsea, but given that Mata isn't making it into thier team you can't really read too much into that. Despite never cutting it for Chelsea, always struck me as a hard worker.

On a free, and cash strapped Palace are targetting him, meaning he couldn't cost too much in wages. Plenty of experience, and we need wingers (two in my opinion).

Apparently Malky has 4 'fall backs' to Montero, so he could be one of them. Just speculation of course.

If we going agree a decent wage packet with him and not pay OTT wages i'd have him at Cardiff.

Agreed. I personally think we could do with two wingers (though I think Malky is only after one). Someone of his experience as well as a young pacey winger - possibly on loan from one of the big guys - would be fantastic.

Exactly. It sounds like a horrible/selfish thing to say, but I'd far rather him on our bench than on their pitch. Palace are really struggling at the moment in the market, and every missed signing for them is good news for us.
