New Tactic vs City, Park Titanic Win Corner, ???, PROFIT!!!!
We scored 3 goals, outscoring them and won the game. We certainly didn't sit back after scoring and pushed forward and in fact won another corner. We sat back after the first goal for a bit to compose ourselves to stop an onslaught from the momentum. Thats just common sense.

Our first goal was pure class, so many passes which made it happen. f*cking love how angry they are, we didn't park the bus at all, I thought we'd be defensive and no the stats on possession don't back us up but we matched them match for man. What a result

It's just the best news of the year so far!
Thu Aug 29, 2013 6:52 am
We had the best chances first half. Fraizer could have scored one at least. We were also in their box within the first two minutes of the match, when we all calling for a pen. Hardly parking the bus. Malky played a blinder and knew they would play narrow and set up the team to close their space and the players did it brilliantly end of

That was a lovely read
But in all fairness,it reminded me of this board when we lose
If we can play like we did sunday at home, there aint a team that will enjoy coming here
Thu Aug 29, 2013 7:09 am
It was a tactical masterclass for Pellegrini from Malky. The players were superb to a man. Man City lacked the nous and ability to beat us on the day, simple as that.
Thu Aug 29, 2013 7:26 am
So what if we did park a bus, lorry or legendary cruise liner in front of the goal? The whole idea of football is to beat the other side not play in fashion which suits the them so they can thrash you and frankly after spending £200m on players Man City should be able to deal with non-cooperative newly promoted teams.
The fact is they didn't and that's their hard luck.
Thu Aug 29, 2013 7:44 am
Shock horror newly promoted team don't just keel over and let the more fancied team win.By the end of the season there's gonna be a lot more boards showing reactions like this after we've played them
Thu Aug 29, 2013 7:48 am
No way were we overly defensive !
The fact that Gunnar was just outside their six yard box to hit home a rebound shows that.
Thu Aug 29, 2013 8:25 am
Have they said we don't belong in the English league yet, that's usually the one you get when we win, especially if it's unexpected.
Thu Aug 29, 2013 8:49 am
Defend like champions, hit them with a 17 pass move for the equaliser whilst Kim left Yaya Toure on his arse twice in five minutes
Yeah, pure luck
Thu Aug 29, 2013 9:08 am
How can they say we parked the titanic in front off goal when we scored 3? Surely if we wanted to shore up our defence we would have done it at 1-1. No we continued to play ball and attacked when the chance arose it is called tactics you manc plums!

With any luck, Hull will turn them over this weekend and there'll be all the normal media speculation about a crisis as Man City. Joe Hart's international competence will be called into question ahead of the international break, and as a club, Man Citeh will eventually do a Leeds and wind up in League 1 - all because of us

We can hope

pellegrini post match comment sums them up. ' Cardiff put 10 behind the ball to make it hard for us to score'

Hopefully the same against Everton Barnett!

Wind up like Leeds? Hardly likely is it! The Abu Dhabi group are building a training complex with sixteen full size pitches including a 10,000 seater stadium among other things for the reserves and academy next to the Etihad. It'll be bigger than any other in England. They have money that a far eastern gent with a penchant for the colour red and trousers that look like they'll strangle him could only dream of.

I know that mate - it'd be funny though. You can see what the media are going to do if they don't get a decent result against Hull though...

I'd rather they smashed Hull 15-0 and broke all their players' legs personally.
Nothing against Hull but if they lose 15-0 and all their players have broken legs they'll probably be relegated

good to see you back tony.ccfc deserved it .kim going down the side was class to put the ball in.the two corner goals were giveaways.shocking goalkeeping and defending .if ccfc defended like that this board would be in meltdown.the delivery on both were top drawer though.the kid for me who put the tempo on a lot of things for cardiff was medel.the lad was king imo.the lad owned the part of the pitch he played in.i thought he was excellent.tbh if ben foster didnt have such a dodgy back he would be a shoe for england if he was fit.far better than joe hart atm.all in all the very most man city could argue for would be a point.personally imo you deserved the win.citeh had 2 c/bs against 1 forward.ok 1 cb is a natural mf but cos they marked square campbell ripped em up.surely the man city defenders/boss could say one mark tight one drop off?not hard is it?i do fear your full backs against proper wingmen who hold the chalk line will be exposed though.there again there aint that many teams got them is there?great viewing.

I feel bad for rooting for the likes of Man U and Chelsea against the bad sides but it has to be done sadly

Although the Man U Swansea game was a particular highlight for me
