I too have always been facinated by away support - Birmigham v Leeds in the 80 's Liverpool in Europe , England , probably a culture thingy.

Bury had good support at Norwich and so did Cheltenham at West Ham.

I was watching a old Big Match programme the other day. The game was Wolves V Shrewsbury. Now, I never thought of Shewsbury having large away support but they took 15,000 to Molineux
