" Not good for Cardiff City? "
Craig Bellamy just been called up for Septembers game for Wales, in my opinion it's not good for Cardiff City, as he is not the same afterwards.
Just a fans opinion.

Anyone else's opinion?

Agreed. I think the Wales game was the reason he wasn't on it against West Ham. Should call it a day IMO.

Plenty of cover for him anyway, he said he's retiring at the end of this qualifying campaign so why is it not good? A huge amount of disrespect if he doesn't turn up for his country in his last few appearances

thats very much down to Bellamy if he wants to carry on playing for Wales who are we to deny him even if it does effect his game with Cardiff. The managers need to communicate and limit his time on the pitch if required

If Wales had a realistic chance of qualifying then he should go. Seeing as we have that clueless idiot Coleman in charge bellers should stay

Its a good thing IMO as it keeps him on the pitch. The worst thing for Bellamy is he plays not enough games as he will only be deteriorating more at his age now as he comes down from his peak. Of course there is a risk of a knee injury at any time but that is something we must accept with Bellamy.

I think Dave Jones messed up big time with Bellamy as he kept resting him and I think that only made things worse. Its like my arthritis Annis, if I keep sitting around and what not then it only gets worse whereas if I do weights and resistance training then it keeps the inflammation and risk of injury low.

Hate to say it cos I give giggs a lot of shit over the same thing but think he should retire from wales. We not going to qualify for this world cup so no reason for him to carry on really.

I agree, wish he would retire don't see point playing for Wales with no chance of making finals in his final seasons of top flight football

If he wants to play then he should. End of the day it is his decision if he wants to play or not. Although I wouldn't mind if he decided not to play since we can't qualify, I respect his decision to finish this campaign off. Don't get too many players wanting to play for their country every game they can anymore :ayatollah: :malky:

Completely different to Giggs though. Giggs didn't turn up when we had the chance to qualify
