Nothing in the media, but things must be advanced if yesterday it was being reported that he is trying to secure a visa to enter the UK. I'd also by the time that was released to the media things were probably further along than that.

Things are very quiet and it is the way that MM likes to do things.

They paid 3 for him themselves, can see them wanting a profit.

To add to the way MM likes to do business, I left for my holidays at 14:00 27th June checked my phone for any transfer gossip and nothing. Landed in Portugal at 17:00 turned my phone on and we had just broken our transfer record for andreas cornelius...where did that come from!

I really like the way he does his dealings albeit a bit frustrating at times when we are all guessing.

Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay is keen to open negotiations with Morelia winger Jefferson Montero as he looks to add further quality. Montero was linked with a move to the Welsh outfit earlier in the summer but talk between the two clubs seemingly fizzled out with no formal approach made. However, the Bluebirds boss is keen to draft in the 23-year-old ahead of the transfer deadline on September 2. It is understood that Montero, who has spent time on loan with Real Betis and Levante, could be acquired for a fee of around £3million. The Ecuador international is reported to be seeking a visa which will allow him to travel to the UK to undergo a medical before the deal is finalised.
