The family club of the year has nothing to do with the fans, its to do with the incentives aimed at families from the club like £10 kids season tickets etc which contributes to half the family stand being empty.

You still have the highest banning orders in football.

Was half the family stand empty on Sunday?

Highest banning orders but not highest arrests. In fact only 1 arrest at ccs last season. Most banning orders relate to Chelsea away when judge made examples of fans involved.

Official figures equate to paying customers which have to be declared for revenue purposes. Just because people don't turn up doesn't mean they haven't paid. Wrong again.

Where did i say people didnt pay? You have just completely made that up

Of course people are going to pay £10 for a season ticket. It means they can miss 99% of games and still make it value for money.

45p a match isnt it? :laughing6:

The general theme of this thread is how far this club has come in the last decade. We're light-years away from where we were a decade ago both on and off the field. There's a long way to go and a lot can change, but we're in a very good place compared to ten years ago.

That's the truth.

Good, then lets discuss the positives of how far this club has come in the last decade as the opening post intended.

He said fans have got family club if the year. Family club of the year has nothing to do with the fans, its to do with the incentives the club runs.

It's voted for by fans isn't it? Or at least the FL canvass their opinions don't they?

As i said, nothing to do with fans. Club incentives and pricing,

"It is hugely encouraging to see so many clubs receiving the accolade, demonstrating The Football League's commitment to securing the next generation of fans."

With greater use of family areas, matchday entertainment and family pricing initiatives, the 2012/13 season has seen an increasing focus on making the experience itself more compelling.

The provision of specific pre-match information for families and first-time fans, dedicated family stadium entrances, specially trained family area receptionists, technology-supported entertainment, and a comprehensive effort to rid family areas of abusive language and anti-social behaviour, have all combined to increase the benchmark.

The judges were particularly impressed with the efforts clubs are making to engage with families through matchday entertainment, refreshment facilities and mascot activities, all ensuring they can enjoy the match in a dedicated, safe, welcoming and entertaining environment.
