£80 to upgrade ffs

Mate who I go to the city with has a Seniors concession season ticket but is in States on business and missed Sunday. Gave his season ticket to his adopted son on Sunday who went to ticket office with full intention of paying to upgrade the ticket, got told £80 to upgrade for match. Result = 1 empty seat and lost revenue for CCFC. Seat will probably be empty for Everton as well now £80 f'ing quid, that can't be right can it !!

£40 for a Gold Card and £16 to upgrade to adult. That's £56 so don't know where the other £24 comes from.

If he'd have paid the £56, his ticket for Everton would only have been £16.Two matches for £72 plus he would now be a gold member.

Now we're on the dynamic pricing system where its cheaper the earlier you buy a ticket, maybe the ticket price was more than £16 extra on the day? + the £40 as well. Maybe try and do it for Everton today rather than on Saturday and see if its cheaper.
