Spurs home to be moved

Tue Aug 27, 2013 3:11 pm

Think this game will now be on the Sunday.

Spurs are practically through and will have a Europa League game on the Thursday before.

I'm alright as long as it starts after 2pm, otherwise I have to stay over the night before and I'll have to stay over the night after for 4pm Sundays - as I did this weekend just gone.

Means I can go to this game though as I was told there was no chance I'd get the Saturday off, but Sundays are easier to book off :ayatollah:

I hope not as I've just bought my ticket for this game! Had to book the saturday off as Annual Leave too. Surely the club shouldn't put tickets on sale if there is doubt about the fixture! Not impressed. Surely it's down to Tottenham to have a big enough squad to compete in the two competitions??

They don't allways move them , been a few times managers have moaned about playing twice in three days . I'm guessing the final decision is down to whether we want to move or not and whether the police will allow it ?
Not nailed on to be moved by any means , what if the police can't police it on the Sunday for some reason ie rugby ?

......what's so funny? The fact I qued up for ages after working a 12hr night shift on a bank holiday paying £40 to watch Cardiff v Tottenham to find out the match might be changed?!? And if it is played on the Sunday I can't go cause when it will be confirmed date it be too short notice to change my annual leave?!

Think I got every right to be pissed off...

Whats funny? The fact you tried to blame the club and then Spurs.

Re: Spurs home to be moved

It will be moved. Teams playing in Europe on Thursday never play on the following Saturday.

They won't move it though until Spurs are confirmed to be through. Same with our games.

I see where your coming from. I suppose it's not Tottenham's fault or Cardiff fault for the change in fixture, but I believe they shouldn't sell tickets when there is a good possibility the dates could change. No harm in delaying it by a week still 3 weeks to sell them just my opinion.

It's about time UEFA sorted out the Europa league! Wasn't there talk of them merging it with the Champions League?

Spurs haven't definitely qualified yet, so no announcement would be made until after their 2nd leg game on Thursday.
