Neville's analysis on MNF - Cardiff City vs Man City

Being in the Premier League allows our team to be analysed like this, great clip,loved it, a must watch!

I suppose the acid test for us fans is when we're on the receiving end of that kind of scrutiny.You could see that as top pro's they were able to dissect Man City like a Lab rat and make alot of sense.I thought Nevilles comments on Whittinghams corner delivery was interesting and something that we might benefit greatly from this season.

Makes me realise how little i really know about the game, Gary Neville is a revelation at what he does.

I must admit I'm enjoy this new MNF as Neville and Carragher both bring a new dimension to the post match analysis of tactics and individual performances. Forget the annoying scouce accent on Carragher he was a top player and his understanding of the game, like Gary Neville, is out of the top draw. Compared to the "Old School" on match of the day the really are excellent at what they are now doing.


When you listen to thier analysis of MM tactics and the way our players performed and kept thier discipline then it completely destroys, in my opinion, this myth that we have a squad of Championship standard footballers.

In MM we have a top young manager and because of his hard work we have a squad filled with young hungry footballers who are both ready and capable of making the step up to the PL.

When Neville compared Whitts set piece delivery to Andy Hinchcliffe it did make me feel old but for those who can remember him there was a player with a wand of a left foot. High praise indeed for a "Championship" player who constantly gets pulled apart on this messageboard.

loved it last night and love it now, fairplay gary Neville is a top pundit and a future manager and a successful one imo

As fans we only see the score side of things but pundits like Carragher and Neville really pick out the simple things and glorify them. I'm glad it makes us appreciate our teams performance even more. Quality pundits, class above the rest

Well said Gary! The way some people slag Whittingham off is little short of disgusting. I bet if it wasn't for whittingham's presence over the last few years, we wouldn't even be where we are now, Never mind VT's cash!

Shame all this footage has been taken away and we can't view any of it anymore. Would the players have really executed Malky's game plan and pulled off this result if they didn't respect him (if he was a racist/sexist/homophobe?) Coincidence how Malky's best work of getting this result has suddenly been wiped away don't you think? Let's wait until the FACTS come out before we all get manipulated and jump the gun and if it's proven Malky is what Tan says he is, I will hold my hands up! Let's wait until the investigation reveals who has said what. Let's not forget Tan is a billionaire who has the financial power to bribe who he wants to get his own way!
