Top teams and players have played in far more intimidating places than CCS for sure  Turkey, Spain, Germany, Russia.

Rio Ferdinand has played everywhere and the only place he brings up is Cardiff.

If you were a real football supporter or even an international rugby supporter you would not have asked this question.Fans can and do make a place intimidating to come to.Just ask any pro or any real fan for that matter.

I understand being intimidated in places like Turkey where they are literally chanting death threats and throwing dead carcasses on the pitch. However british football just isnt like that.

It could be 70,000 and its still not scary. Men singing about paedophilia etc?

It can boost your own team, but certainly doesn't scare opponents, that notion died long ago.

Because he just watched the game Ian involving his main rivals while conversing on social media  its not his main topic of conversation on a daily basis im sure. :D

He also said he would like to play not that he was scared which surely would be the opposite reaction.

No they don't. If you are scared of men singing songs then you shouldn't be a pro simple as that. Premier League players play everywhere, all over the world at far louder and bigger stadiums than the 27,000 ccs singing about swansea getting touched by their fathers. Trust me

Wasn't a library yesterday.

Ask Gary Neville, he should know he has been to most grounds lately.

It's the first home game mate - same as when we were at home first, everyone is fired up. When the chips are down and there is a poor run (which you no doubt experience) that's the true test of character for the fans.

That's goes for anywhere. The thing is we proved we have still got it disproving the library theory you lot are claiming on us.

Wasnt it a main topic of conversation on here on how to improve the atmosphere as it was so bad you could hear the players calling for the ball as has been the case since moving there years ago?

One loud game against a top 4 side and you have disproved the theory? :D

Re: GOD HELP ANY TEAM THAT

It went quiet when City scored though! :P

One thing we do get at Swansea is that if we concede it get's the crowd even more vocal and that has helped us through games. Chelsea 1-1 was a good example. Freezing cold, crazy heavy sleet raining down and we go 0-1 down. The home fans didn't stop and then Hernandez pops up with a quality bit of skill to level the scores. Great result that day.

But sometimes you find the no matter how loud the fans are, it's no match for world class skill on the field - nothing can be done about that mate. That's football.

He was a cock at ours goading Sinclair in his penalty run up. But we had the last laugh though when Lucky Luke Moore popped up.

He's not had much luck in Wales, he was the Shrewsbury keeper at the last game at the Vetch when we won 1-0. Apart from International level, don't think he has ever won in Wales (citation needed).

You must have to turn the tv up to its maximum volume to be able to hear '20,000' fans singing rugby songs.
